Javarilla  > Motorcycles > Across the West by Motorcycle
In June of 2003, I was lucky enough to take a couple weeks and make an express tour of many of the things I've wanted to see in the Western United States. Here are my photos.

Javarilla > This is the machine gun of a relatively modern warplane on display in the museum. I think it was from a Warthog, but I'm not sure. I wish I'd thought to put something in the picture for scale so you could understand just how big those bullets are...
Javarilla > And here's me beside the tank. Ross says several people work inside this tank. Must be small people, eh?
Javarilla > Me keeping the cockpit of an F4 Phantom firmly planted on Terra Firma.
Javarilla > Sawtooth Mountains, as seen from the west of Stanley, Idaho.
Javarilla > The headwaters of some mighty western river.
Javarilla > The Lost River Mountain Range (includes Idaho's highest mountain - Mt Borah).
Javarilla > Well, at one time not so long ago, the whole valley fell several feet, and the mountain range raised a foot or two. Later, I saw something that said the same event pushed 4 billion gallons of ground water up into the valley.
Javarilla > If you look close you can spot the fault line in the foreground (looks like a dirt colored fence). Then you can trace it as it snakes it's way a long way off into the background. It runs for miles and miles along the mountain range.
Javarilla > Another view of the fault line. See it crossing the entire picture?
